awarded CARF
accreditation
CARF International
announced that Nia Comprehensive Center For Developmental
Disabilities, Inc. has been accredited for a period of
3 years for its Community Service Coordination, Family
Service Children & Adolescences programs/services.
The latest accreditation represents the first multi year
accreditation for NIA by the international accrediting body in
several years.

For Developmental Disabilities, Inc. is a not-for-profit
organizationwith offices at 1808 S. State St. Chicago IL. It has
been providing community, family and respite (In-Home Care) in
the chicagoland area since 1977.
CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission
is topromote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of
services through aconsultative accreditation process that
centers on enhancing the lives of the
persons served. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on
Accreditation of
Rehabilitation Facilities, and now known as CARF, the
accrediting bodyestablishes consumer-focused standards to help
organizations measure and
improve the quality of their programs and services.
